AGM Identity and Digital Music Nation 2013

Challenge 

Branding design agency Embrace were asked to develop corporate identity design solutions for the BPI’s 2012 Annual General Meeting and the Digital Music Nation 2013 review that could be used across brochures and in situ at events. 

For Digital Music Nation 2013, the main issue when it came to the design process was around creating visually compelling designs that could accommodate lots of facts, figures, and graphs. 

Strategy

For the Annual General Meeting, digital design studio Embrace created a theme centralised  around the idea of “Amplifying Success” in the British music industry, designing a graphic look and feel built up of colourful shards ‘amplified’ from the title to create a dynamic and celebratory feeling.

Explorations of closely cropped in imagery within the shards, built up an impactful picture of the music industry.

Result

Print and design for the AGM meant applying the look across a variety of in situ marketing collateral including screens, gobos, lecterns etc.  

The event was attended by 150 music delegates and because of the success of the work, we were subsequently tasked with the creation of Digital Music Nation 2013, the company’s review of the current digital landscape, its first since 2010.
