In December 2016 The Who Cares Trust rebranded to Become.
The charity was founded in 1992 to support young people in the care system. The name change and rebrand was undertaken to modernise the charity, in 2016 there are lot of loyal supports who care passionately about the cause. The choice of Become as a new name also reflects the belief that with the right support even the lives of most traumatised and vulnerable children can be turned around.
Embrace was commissioned to design and build a new website for the charity.
The objectives of the new website are broken into four core pillars.
• EDUCATION - inform people of the issues affecting children and young people in care
• ENGAGEMENT - promote engagement with children in the care sytem as well as their care givers and professionals
• ENCOURAGEMENT - encourage referrals based on positive experiences
• SUPPORT - drive donations and fundraising activities

Built on UMBRACO Content Management System the charity has full control of the website structure and content
The site is designed to cater for the various audience requirements, at the core is a young audience, the site is well optimised for mobiles. It contains in depth information and guidance that can be accessed easily. There is a comprehensive resource section for carers and professionals. Also, fundraising and online donations have been bought to the fore.
